6TH + 9TH GRADE ORIENTATION + FIRST DAY OF SCHOOL!

Tuesday, September 2

  • Students in 6th + 9th grade only

  • Half of the day will be orientation and the other half will go through an abbreviated periods 1-8 schedule

  • This orientation/first day is considered a school day for students in 6th + 9th grade, and we are hoping for 100% attendance

  • We have implemented this change as we feel orientation experiences are very important and when scheduled in the summer, families have many events and activities taking place

  • Transportation will run as scheduled

TMS+THS SCHEDULES

We are working very hard on finishing schedules and locker assignments. Our goal is to have all student schedules finished as soon as possible. Schedules will be published on August 27. Students can pick up their schedules at Open House or Orientation.

TMS+THS CHROMEBOOKS

All students in grades 6-12 will have a school-issued Chromebook and should be using the school-issued device and not a personal computer while at school. Requests for exceptions should be made by contacting the building principal. To receive your Chromebook:

1. Read the Chromebook Use Procedures

2. Pay the Yearly $40 Technology Rental Fee

  • Electronic payment is available via your Infinite Campus Parent Portal

  • Checks payable to Triton / Cash at time of pick up are also okay

  • We do not want this fee to stop student use. Please contact Mrs. Fox for scholarship information or payment plans if needed. We will work with you to make sure all students have access.

3. Parents and students MUST BOTH sign the User Agreement

  • Print and sign the attached form, or sign together at Open House

  • If you cannot attend Open House, the student may pick up their Chromebook on the first day of school once the signed agreement and payment have been received
