Homecoming Week! A special Homecoming Edition of the Cobra Connection newsletter will be coming out later this week with ALL the details of this year's Homecoming festivities!
I hope the start of the school year is going well for you and your families. I wanted to remind all Triton families that this fall, Triton Public Schools will hold a Capital Projects Levy Referendum on November 4, 2025. If approved, the levy would provide $650,000 per year for 10 years to support technology upgrades, updated curriculum, facility maintenance, and replacement of aging buses and vans.
Like many districts, Triton is facing rising costs and limited state funding. The levy would help maintain strong programs, safe facilities, and quality learning opportunities for students. For a $250,000 home, the estimated tax impact is about $6 per month. Agricultural landowners can find their exact tax impact using the tax calculator on our levy webpage.
If the levy passes, Triton will be able to continue investing in students while keeping our tax rate below most neighboring schools. If it does not pass, the district will need to make additional budget reductions, which could affect class sizes, programs, and transportation.
For more information, including the tax calculator, FAQs, and a schedule of community meetings, please visit www.triton.k12.mn.us/page/levy or contact Mr. Lutterman.
Together, #WeAreTriton.

Triton Public Schools uses a variety of digital tools to support student learning. Technology vendors and software is utilized to support work as we help all students develop the skills necessary to succeed in an ever-changing world.
We have an inventory of our curriculum, testing, and assessment tools posted at https://bit.ly/tpsstudentsoftwaredata and include an outline of the student data elements within each tool. This list is maintained and communicated annually to all families at the start of the school year.
Please reach out to Technology Coordinator Rebecca Goossens (rgoossens@triton.k12.mn.us) for additional questions regarding specific digital tools used in classrooms
The Triton Profile of a Graduate defines the essential skills and competencies students need for success in college, career, and life. Created through a community-driven process, it serves as a guide for educational planning and a shared vision for student, parents, and staff.
This fall, we begin with a focus on COMMUNICATION, emphasizing clear classroom expectations, modeling, and activities that help students strengthen this essential skill.
We are excited to be back in session this week!
