REGISTRATION FOR 2025-2026

1. Registration for any new or returning students in grades K-12 is now online and can be completed on any device that has an internet browser and will be completed through the Infinite Campus Portal. This will replace a large amount of paperwork that families have traditionally had to complete each year. There are different steps to register depending on whether you are completely new to district or if you are currently or previously enrolled. Complete your registration here.

2. If you haven’t filled out your educational benefits form yet, you can make a tremendous difference for our students by doing so right away. If you’re not certain whether you qualify, please take a moment and fill out the form. Your family circumstances may have recently changed due to employment loss or other financial challenges, so you may now qualify. Access the document here or pick it up at Open House or Meet the Teacher.

SCHOOL LUNCH INFORMATION

School Year 2025-2026 meals are free for all students. We still encourage ALL families to fill out the Educational Benefit Form (formerly Free & Reduced Lunch).

This form goes far beyond the original Free & Reduced Lunch eligibility for families. It could also qualify families for reduced athletic/activity fees, SUN Bucks (EBT during the summer), funding for internet access and technology, and AP Testing support. For the school district, it brings in additional compensatory funding from the State of MN that can be used for a multitude of things to benefit the kids and our schools.

PAYING YOUR FOOD SERVICE ACCOUNT

Parents/Guardians: You are responsible for any negative balance that your student’s account may have. These accounts need to be paid and brought up to date. We have 3 options for applying money to your student’s account:

  1. Online (Infinite Campus)

  2. Check- Send with student to school or drop off in any office. Make check payable to Triton and put your student's first and last name on the memo line.

  3. Cash- Send cash with your student to school or drop off to any office. Place cash in an envelope with the student’s first and last name.

SACK LUNCHES FROM HOME

If your student brings lunch from home and wants a milk, it is an extra charge of $.70.
Milk is only free with school breakfast & lunch. Please make sure you have funds in your student’s account.

ALA CARTE - TMS + THS STUDENTS ONLY

Ala Carte is separate from regular student meals, and this option is NOT COVERED AS FREE! These specialty items must be charged on an account or paid for with cash.

Students MUST have a positive balance in their account, or pay cash day of purchase, for any Ala Carte purchases. Any student with a negative balance will NOT be allowed extras or ala carte items (*THEY WILL BE ALLOWED TO GET THE REGULAR MEAL).

Ala Carte items may include:

  • Cookie, ice cream, smoothies, chips, juices, pickles, fruit snacks, extra diner sandwich, extra pizza slice, extra fries, extra milks, or a second meal, etc.

Please have a conversation with your student about the Ala Carte option and what their boundaries are when using it. The Taher staff is unable to monitor every student that comes through when it comes to allergies or limits. This is up to individual families.

If requested by the parent/guardian, Ala Carte may be blocked (*PLEASE NOTE: Students are still able to use cash to purchase Ala Carte since using cash does not affect their account). If you want your student blocked from Ala Carte options, email Misty Langley or Kelly Johnson with the name of the student(s) that you want blocked in the subject line or call Food Service directly at 507-418-7531.

HOW TO STAY ENGAGED WITH YOUR STUDENT'S SCHOOL EXPERIENCE

Triton Public Schools uses a variety of tools to communicate with our families and students, and we have been working hard to make sure that families have the information they need to help guide their student(s) through their years at Triton Public Schools.

We want all students to develop self-advocacy skills and learn to manage things appropriately, but parent/guardian guidance and support are crucial to the overall success of students and our school.

Please use the guide pictured to stay involved and engaged in your child's educational experiences.
